We woke up so late today thanks to making it home at about 5am so we decided to go back to sleep and only started doing activities at about 3pm. Sam and I caught the metro to Praca de Republica and checked it our for a while.

No, He Never Returned

... some food. Not much open so I stopped in at the corner cerveceria and pointed at a fried empanada looking thing. It ended up being an aged ham and cheese sandwich. Aged definition here is made at lunch time and microwaved at midnight. Nothing a beer couldn’t wash down. So I got one of those too.
It went down quickly and gave me the energy for a little more exploring but it was quick and I was glad to crawl into bed.
