    18 hours down... We're halfway there!

    ... which is low on food and comfort. However, we did get wifi and finally found an outlet that works so we aren't quite so bored now. I know that we still have a few hours, several more coffees, and some reading to do, but we will be on our way to South Africa soon Then, it's just a 9 hour flight, 4 hour layover, and 2 hour flight until we get to Cape Town where we can finally lay down to sleep. Really looking forward to laying ...

    ... After hearing that the forest was haunted, Greg Jesse and I had to check it out. With the unfamiliar dancing Dr. Seuss trees around us it was a little spooky, we even found some old fountains and temple-like structures in the forest that were slowly being taken back by nature. No ghosts though. During the hike greg did manage to split the crouch of his 3rd and last pair of pants. A large light brought us out of the forest and into the bonfire ...

    ... us (and most other competitors) 1/2 hour to cross town so the end control was cancelled.

    The hotel is on top of the mountain with a nice view over the town. We had more time to enjoy the place, because the night leg was cancelled. In fact, during the day drive over the mountain several cars (us included) were hit by eggs and tree branches and the organisers did not want to risk accidents at night.
