Travelled from Arco Iris to Curi Churri Nature Reserve at 7.30am. Within 30mins we were looking up at quetzal birds, 2 female, 1 juvenile and 1 resplendant male with beautiful long tail feathers. Next we saw 2 spider monkeys, large with brown chest hair moving above us, one with a baby. There was a hole with a mother red-kneed tarantula gaurs in her sack of 50-80 babies and a palm pit-viper wrapped round a branch. We also saw a coati, hummingbirds and agoutis. At the end ...

Watched the Spain v Chile game ...... Spain are gone!!! It is incredible how many Chilean's are here ...... I suppose it is a stroll across the boarder for ...
... sunset we stopped somewhere to eat and change driver. Still havent eaten beans yet! One thing is for sure, I am coming back here, I love it, and I havent even seen the nicest parts yet. High up on my todo list: practice Portugees. Sun has gone down now, not much to see anymore.. So dark, little light pollution, but almost full moon mostly hidden behind the clouds. No photos for this post yet, I took them with my digital ...
