Krios Beach Parikia, Paros, Cyclades, Greece, 84400, 22840-23205
... are still many columns as well as some interesting mosaics. Even with what remains, there is enough to get a good idea of what the island would have been like in its heyday. The best know sculptures on the island are a row of lions.

We anchored within the Bay of Delos and returned in the afternoon for lunch aboard. After we finished exploring the island, we boarded the yacht and returned to Mykonos for the evening. We went to shore and found a ...
Delos, Cyclades, Greece mylifesjourneyIt’s a little cool outside for a party island that is famous for its nude beaches and all-night dance clubs. This is the first time that I wished we were visiting Greece during the tourist season since the town almost feels empty and the beaches deserted.

This is ...
Mykonos, Cyclades, Greece mylifesjourney... I can remember last year when the city of San Francisco had to create a secret path to avoid protesters extinguishing the flame. And tomorrow I get to see where it all starts and always has started. So cool.

I think I'm going to quit while I'm on a flitty note. And start preparing yourself for the mass of photos that will be coming your way next week from the cruise. Thank goodness for this fabulous camera!

Kalli Spera!! (Which is Good day! in Greek.)

Naxos, Cyclades, Greece malena.drelaSo you would think on the last day we would be off going crazy but its a little cloudy today so we just had a little walk to the harbour and had some coffee and cake and then went and got some pasta sauce to go with the left over spaghetti that we had and had a lovely lunch in then just sat and read our books caught up with washing underwear and repacking and washing backpack then got ready and had to drag myself out for ...

Naoussa, Cyclades, Greece traceybelleTook the hydroplane from Santorini to Mykonos. Stayed right on the beach and the cruise ships docked right down the beach. Island topography not as dramatic as Santorini but very nice. Surprised how dry and little vegetation on both islands. Got my whole body in the Mediterranean not just my feet (no pictures of that !!)
Mykonos Town, Cyclades, Greece pathengerHey Everyone!!! Sorry it has taken so long to finally write but we have been having so much fun and meeting so many interesting people and seeing the most beautiful landscapes. Our travel to Greece was uneventful but very long. Our trip from Heathrow to Athens was chaotic because of this English lady with her four kids that she kept jacked up on soda and candy. I think Troy (along with many other passengers) where ready to ...
Santorini, Greece mawyer... begin to get across how amazing it was. I took that photo early in the evening and then walked around for a while. After the better part of an hour had passed the sun was hanging heavy and low in the sky. It had changed from a friendly orange to a bright, flaming red. The colour and the size gave an almost evil feeling to the sun; as if it were suspended, just waiting for the moment to attack. My little digital camera was arguing with me about capturing the colour, but it was amazing.
Parikia, Paros, Greece erinontheroad... except for the last km, which was straight up and switch-backed so we had to walk the bikes up mostly. The cave was really cool, and the pictures turned out really well. The cave went mostly straight down, there were lots of narrow stairs. I thought it was neat to be in a spot with from 15 and 150 years ago side by side. Coming down the hill on the bike scared me a lot, but I made it. After a quick stop at a pretty beach made it back to the ferry and bus. The ...
