That being said, the last couple of days have had their fill of adventures, and I'm glad to finally sit down and be able to post about them! Today was a public holiday (see yesterday's entry) and everything was closed except the cafés which were doing a great business. The sun was out for a lot of the day too.
The school kids were out in force again with their marching and drumming and having a great time. There were priests and lots of dignataries laying wreaths and then more marching and drumming through the lined streets. It was quite moving to see.

On our way to the airport from Paris we had a bit of trouble with the train, we were leaving in peak hour and all the trains coming through our stop for the airport were already PACKED. There was no room at all and there were hundreds of people trying to get on at our stop, it's safe to say that 4 people with ginormous packs had no chance of squeezing in.
