    Today we spent the entire day at Magic Kingdom in Disney World. We left our hotel at 8:30am and didn't get back till just before midnight.     ... some lucky random guests, then do meet and greets. They were so nice! I somehow started chatting to Jasmine about giraffes as she commented on my ears which led to some rather odd impressions of giraffes sticking out their tongues. Rosie and I got our photos done, and continued to squeal with excitement as we went to Pirates of the Caribbean for the first ride of the day.

    ... in the park and in the afternoon they had a mini Macy day parade down the main street. Unfortunately one of the floats got a bit of a flat and it was hilarious to see it going down on the street, it was action stations all round with people running everywhere and trying to fix it. At the end of the night they also had a 100 year celebration special with scenes from well-known movies projected onto to a water screen with lights and fireworks. It was pretty cool.     ... dropped of majority of the group at universal studios once we'd arrived before going to the campsite with the intention of setting up our flooded tents in hopes of them drying out.     ... normal. It was quite strange, however the sense of unity in their love for their nation was also touching.

    Gus and I are travelling north to savannah over the next few days, and will return back to orlando for a day before flying to new Orleans.

    from the space centre we started the move north to savannah and are staying in Daytona at the moment, which will be explained in the Daytona section.
