Saloon (with a Nancy for Kraig), a tour of Tallgrass Brewing Company, a home cooked steak and shrimp dinner (extra smoke included), more drinks at Rock a Belly Deli (and another Nancy for Kraig), breakfast at The Chef, Sunday Football at Tubby’s (even though the Pack lost) and a taste of Madison provided by Pel’meni.

... that. He was also introduced to Mihm's by my Dad last week, and definitely regrets that he did not know about it sooner!
We left Appleton on Wednesday and spent the night at Dave and Sam's house in Pewaukee. They treated us to an incredible last Sconnie meal at Dylon's on Pewaukee Lake. Delicious. We enjoyed every drop of our last properly made Korbel old fashioned presses. That's not to say we won't find somewhere that ...

We begin our journey here in Manhattan while watching the K-State vs. North Dakota State football game and the unveiling of Fort Snyder. EMAW tonight because we're AWOL tomorrow!

... constitutes the best. It is rub versus sauce. Some areas declare sauce is what makes the difference and some call sauce gooey stuff that is only necessary if the meat is not cooked properly. Kansas City has me confused as the owners used rubs and offered sauces. Best of both worlds I guess. In the end the meat decides it for me and it was tender. The one mile detour was worth the trip.
