7/13 Day 22 We are still camped in Casper WY. Tried to go to the Historic Trails Interpretive Center this morning but they were closed Monday. That was typical of where we are in the trip of barely knowing what day or time it is. Yesterday evening we tried to go to Bed Bath and Beyond but it was Sunday and 7:00 pm – not open. Though in fairness to us the Center had not posted their hours in the booklet we got.

... got close to Douglas WY we could see the Rame Mountains. We followed them right up to Casper. The last half of the trip was challenging with wind gusts up to 35 mph. Slowed me down a little to70 from 80, so I could feel more in control.
We got in about 3:15 and set up camp at the Casper East RV Park. This is a more urban setting than our last site. But seems very quiet so far.

... one was coming - and quietly rode past, looking him in the eye and hoping he wouldn't make a sudden turn towards us. But evidently he was intent on going somewhere, so he gave us little notice and continued running on past without incident. Afterwards, it was all smooth sailing.
