Happy Labor Day People (though we will make the argument that we labored more yesterday)
today is Waterfall challenge #2. This one was Grotto falls and only 3~ish miles and supposedly not so uphill. (This being a waterfall I was not going to be fooled by the promise of 'no' uphill...)
We carried a lighter load today (smart move #1) and brought along our water shoes ...
... compete for Britain if Mini Golf ever makes it into the Olympics. Me and Les had a team talk later that night, about how we are going to have to raise our game. I think we need to take them on at our sports. I will be suggesting a day at the bowling alley tomorrow with drinking games.
The end of the night the Sach's kindly treated us to a delicious home/camp cooked dinner consisting of yummy pork loin, gnocchi and veggies.
... a tortilla chip in it and hottness ensued. I think Chris' mouth was on fire for about the next 3 hours. After coughing up spiciness for a few minutes the guy in the shop offered him a 'cure' - a spoonful of horseradish that was meant to counteract it....he tried it but thought that was pretty much a load of cr@p.
Then back to camp for our first night of 'really' roughing it (= no showers)
