So my first experience of The Greyhound was a peculiar one. Some weirdo pushed my bag through the weigh scale to the other side and all the staff went on lockdown and hid in there offices and the shouted at me when I asked to get my bag. After 30mins of waiting very patiently (very patiently as I'm not a very patient person!) someone retrieved my bag and I didn't have to pay the extra weight fee! ... a strong police presence guard the entrances to the two blocks around Beale and frisk everyone going in. Once you leave, you have to queue up again to get back in. We caught the shuttle back to Heartbreak Hotel and the RV park. Everyone was a little giddy. The driver took us home via the Mississippi River Road. Elvis came over the radio, "Hound Dog..." Everyone on the bus started singing along. It was daft, cheesy, embarrassing to be with all these middle aged white folks doing ...
... We later heard the the Memphis Zoo is rated in the top 10 in the USA. Suzanne really had a great time, so it was well worth it. I do plan on coming back to see the Bass Pro Shop when it is finished, so Graceland will be included next time. We did walk over to Graceland and take some pictures. One of them shows a fox running across the lawn of Graceland. What a way to end our stay in Memphis! on to Nashville ...
... are pretty bad and will take advantage of tourists so we are all of the agreement they we travel as a group everywhere. Tomorrows ride will take us to Graceland to see if Elvis is infant dead or not. I think the boys will be breaking out the Elvis glasses for the occasion then a big push for another long one tomorrow.
