That was the last stop at the mansion grounds and the bus took us back to the other side of the street so we could continue our tour. Of course, the bus drops you off right at the booth where your pictures are being hocked. We walked around and went to the car museum instead.

... looking at is the last room Elvis sat and played with his friends before he died and from that moment you spend the rest of the tour with a lump in your throat until you get to his grave when you turn in to a blubbering mess. Greig hid behind sunglasses but said he too couldn't hold back the tears. The cold, rainy day certainly added to the sombre atmosphere at the graves.

We also got to see his two airplanes (one even had a bed in it - with a safety seat belt inbuilt as well), his car collection (including his pink Cadillac), a bunch of history and a giant collection of his clothes. There was one point in his career where he was doing 2 nights a week for 30 days. It's just insane. I have a whole new appreciation for his music now.

so we had to line up, but there was a continuous line of shuttles so
the line moved fast. At the house there was an audio tour and you
just walked from the start following the signs to the exit, there was
lots to see including his record collection and the furry walls. The
