... to sit as I type this and watch barges headed up the river and full sized trees headed down. The river is flowing very high right now (29.75 feet, and the park we are staying in floods at 32 feet), but the lady in the office when we checked in assured us that the expected crest on Monday would be below the top of the river bank. I sure hope she's right! The sites themselves are very nice, with level concrete pads ...

... But we loved the day. Even non Elvis fans would have to be impressed. Then we set off to Downtown. Meandered along Beale Street, man that strip was jumping! Ducked into The Green Beetle for a vege burger and cider. Got to the Orpheum just in time for... drum roll... Mr Bob Dylan! It was a pretty mellow show in one of the most amazing venues. All in all, not a bad day ...
