Memphis has its dark side too, we were warned not to go south of Beale Street and coming back from Graceland our cab driver showed us the slum area. Many empty buildings with squatters on each block. Even at the lower end of Beale Street there are beggars and for those of you who may be wondering how the beggars are....."They're doin' fine thank you ...
