That evening we wandered around the suburb we were staying in (Vila Madalena) and grabbed an awesome (some kind of) meat sandwich from a side street and a drink from one of the many bars. Vila Madalena is one of the few areas that it is recommended for tourists to stay- as other areas are far too dangerous at night.
