I'm sat in the Cathay Pacific lounge at 7.00 am Australia time on the 2nd Nov waiting for a flight to the Philippines. I have a 2 week trip there for work, but coming home at the weekend to see Lesley and the kids. It's a 26 hour round trip so I will be putting the miles in. It's unfortunate that I have to go so early after coming to Melbourne, but I have to meet my new team.
This week just gone has been great, work is going at a pace and ...
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia hallahall... and hear about the best champions and the most famous stories. We were guided to the trophy room, to see the actual Australian Open trophy. All the time I was taking zillions of photos, we then got to step onto court 1 and were told about the capacity and surface of the court. Other highlights included seeing the Davis cup room, with an honours board and we went to the press conference room, where the players make their speeches after matches. I got to ...
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia leehorscraft... and bought a book, so at least time went by pretty quickly. I also met this really nice girl who was going to be on the same flight back to Canberra and chatted with her for an hour or so... small world when I ran into her at my client's yesterday as she works there! :) Overall had a lovely weekend! Melbourne is a very nice city! Overall though, I have to admit that my heart is still in Sydney.. :) That's it for now, hope you guys all had a great weekend!!! Wish you were here! Caro xoxo

Also looked at Myrtle Beechtrees which were also wicked. Then we saw the 12 Apostles, which were truly the most beautiful random bits of rock i've seen (bar kata tjuta). Then we went back to the hostel and cooked dinner - pasta - yum yum.
21st June - Went on the Neighbours tour today!! :-) We had an awesome Tour ...
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia amyboxshall... Melbourne there is a noise restriction laws which bans noise before 8 am. However it was pretty cool eating Sushi in the park with Zoe accompanied by the drone and hum of the F1 cars in the background. Also swimming in another great outdoor pool in Pahran, off Chapel Street and watching 6 red arrows creating shapes and geometry in the beautiful blue skies above the city, was pretty spectacular. As Friday progressed the stillness of the ...
Melbourne, Australia hess... street, not named Ramsy Street in real life. But niether Kellie and I are fans so we didnt go. We did a couple of trips while we were here. We went a day trip to Philip Island to see the small penguins come in from the sea at sunset. Seeing the penguins was cute & all that but the rest of the trip was poor. We never got to explore the Island, as I would have liked to gone to the GP/Superbike track.
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia stuart007... and more irritated. We could see him pacing up and down on the bridge and then he started blowing the ships horn in the same manner as you would a car hooter which was rather funny for the rest of us watching on the deck. You should have seen the latecomers run when the ships horn was blown! The captain also made sure the whole ship knew about the latecomers. We were thankful we were not late!

Our adventure was almost at an end - One more sea day and then we would be in Sydney.
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia ferres... vsechno.
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia aguas... turned into about 7 pitchers and a few hours, then we went back and got changed to go out (ie flip flops off and runners on) sushi for dinner was sub-par, but a few asahi beers made up for it. then we went to "the lounge" and drank a ton more and played pool and hung out with a chick from the states (Christine) with crazy dread-locks and her cr-asian hairdressing friends. the rest gets kinda fuzzy
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia tsquared... such an amazing and enjoyable drive with some awesome coastal landscapes. Next stop Geelong, the city completely obsessed with AFL (Austrian Rules Football). Stayed in Geelong for a couple of hours and had a stroll along the pretty waterfront before heading to St Kilda in Melbourne to meet some friends. I'm staying with some guys I met in Saigon back in the summer for a ...
