... of the Baron. The original settlement in an area called The Rocks still has a lot of the original buildings and even pubs. Two of which Peter visited but yet again the beer was not good.

The most iconic sights are obviously the Opera House and Harbour Bridge so we were keen to see them. They are rather impressive although against the Sydney skyline the Opera House looked smaller than it seems in photos.

... surf is crazy and I could have spent forever watching the surfers. Nights out there end kind of early (snore) but the Aussies do love a good drink which I am a massive fan of. The weather FINALLY picked up and given that it's only spring, it was super hot so we decided to do the Bondi to Coogee walk. ... Before that we went to a big souvenir market Josie recommended called "Paddy's market". So many cheap souvenirs, I definetly recommend saving all your purchases for the market. Unfortunately I couldn't find the wombat I wanted here, lots of them are really hard and square, I wanted a soft cudderly one. We bought a small boomerang though.
