... at sunset the bats come out to feed. We made sure we were on the bridge at sunset and I have never seen so many bats in my life. They were flying within 10 feet of us, hundreds of them (actually 750,000 give or take a few). In an evening they devour between 10,000 and 60,000 mosquitoes which by my reckoning is a very good thing. It was not possible to get a good photo so we will simply use our minds eye to remember ...
