Our first expedition into Singapore without any local guide has brought us to the business district - v inspiring for Dan and quite impressive. After a little exploring we soon found a food hall and Dan had a crack at ordering our own meal - you can see the result in the pics :)

... on back to Bugis street to snack on the various street stalls and shopped for a bit. The clothes in Bugis Street were cheap and the kids loved it alot! Definetly a place I would recommend if you want to go shopping in Singapore.
After about a few hours walking and shopping in Bugis Street, the kids were tired and we went back to our hotel to wash up and prepare for dinner.
These were what we observed during our trip there:
- To list some food we spotted there, curry, roti, watermelon fruit juice, coconut juice, Alwa, Laddoo, Mysore Pak, Jilebi, Gulabjamuns and Biryani.
- We interviewed tourists and most of them stated that dishes like Mutton Biryani, Mutton Curry and Thosai is a must try in Little India.
- No beef is served due to their religion, mostly vegetarians ...
