    Welcome back folks,

    Well, the time has flown by, and the first month is basically wrapped up. I have been thrust into the adventures of solo traveling, and am off to some new lands. The time in Indonesia was great, but you get 30 days on a standard visa, and I'm ready to roll forward.

    ... in the Long Bar. I'm a bit of a purist so I had the traditional recipe but Fiona chose the 'Courtyard' variant. The traditional version was a little too sweet for my tastes but Fiona's was nice. At around 30 for the two it was pretty expensive and some would call the whole thing a tourist trap but it was a pleasant experience and I wouldn't call it a trap if you willingly walk in!

    ... had a bite to eat at the Cafe Cartel, best ribs I have had in a long time. Try it out if you are ever in town. The night safari was pretty good, a part from our bus seemingly full of South Africans, much like everywhere we went. They basically chuck you on a 'tram' and drive you through a massive park / zoo full of nocturnal and not so nocturnal animals from every continent.
