We got off at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, a giant structure with an observation deck, and got the lift up to the roof at floor 56. It had great views over the city, with the bay, the Marina, concert halls and gardens plus the water-spouting Merlion statue, the symbol of Singapore.

... East Coast Seafood Centre. What a set-up! Any number of seafood restaurants set on the coast, and we're at Jumbo's, right on the waterfront. The place is hopping! Don't think I've ever seen a busier fuller place anywhere.
