I love being teacher and I felt, in some way, that I had let the children down by taking a year's leave. I also felt that I would miss my friends and I felt like some, through no fault of their own, were holding me here. I realised I had to let go. Tonight I went to see Damon Albarn at the ...

... That explains a lot. Landed safely in Perth and grabbed a taxi to our lovely 5 star suite hotel. Of what bliss. We have a lovely suite on the 11th floor overlooking the WACCA. (I didn't notice the WACCA - Glen pointed it out to me.). I commented it doesn't get much better than this. Glen said yes it could - if there was cricket on. Oh thank goodness there's no cricket on! So we're finally here and it's been a long day. Tomorrow we explore the ...

... feeling too great, one girl had the reddest face I've ever seen after only 2 tastes! We visited a little shopping outlet at the end of the tour and then went to see some kangaroos in the wild which was really nice. Back at the hostel we just chilled in the living room watching Harry Potter and then I had an early night for my next ...
