        The next day we had a cool relaxing day on the beach followed by a similar night which we were prepared for as the group had come from Brisbane and were staying for two nights because of the bank holiday weekend.         ... a trip to the blue mountains with some people I had met! I then bought some work clothes I needed for this interview/induction before heading back to the hostel.

        ... so we just thought ah well that's what we have to do. The flight was 5 hrs long and did kind of drag! It's mad the longest flight was the quickest for us. The flights was really empty too and such a small plane compared to the pervious too which had a lot more space in them. I ended up get not 2 hours sleep thank god! Poor Ciaran didn't get any but at least we knew when we got to Perth we could go straight to bed, no waiting for check in no having to be polite to ...

        ... is a lot easier than driving through traffic, and using the Opal card makes it economical,costing no more that $15/day. A trip across the harbour to the zoo would cost a lot by taxi, and probably a half hour drive as you meander around all the coves and inlets. However, a ferry ride takes you directly there in a few minutes. There are ferries that leave regularly from the Quay that take you anywhere in the city.
