Arrived safely after a great flight from Australia. Traveled business class with Singapore and get 10/10 for service and great food. Transferred to Lufthansa and again good service but beds not as comfortable. First day just wandered around Manchester and got our bearings. Busy place and very industrial. Let's just refer to the mattress as providing a bedspring massage. We were able to hook into internet for a short while, so we looked up Dave Powell, our host from a few days ago, who had told us he played football (i.e., soccer) professionally. He has his own Wikipedia entry and had an impressive career. He played internationally for Wales 13 times!

Amazing and interesting visit to Tracy's house this Autumn, with lots of healthy food!
I think she thought she'd find it restful, but I'm thinking that I was the one that rested more and renewed myself. Walking Tango across the dunes, running on the long sandy beaches and reading a lot about food. Great cooking - really loved the raw diet and the juices! Thank you Tracy - you're such an inspiration xx
