My mom and I went for a drive along the Hakusan Super Rindo Forest Road. In fact, because the toll for the road was quite expensive, I stayed away from the drive way for a long time. However, I heard that you could get a discount only in July and August, and that seemed to be a good chance to try it. Today we woke up around 8 to catch a train to the beach in Fukui. I believe it's called sunset beach or something like that. It was one of the first small towns we've been to. The streets were nearly deserted as we wandered westward between the crowded houses. Standing guard on every corner are mirrors for seeing around the narrow hairpin turns that zigzag through the neighborhoods.

... After realizing, I could get off the Shinkansen in Kyoto and catch the express train to Fukui that took just over a hour, a plan developed.
