... chocolate is made from the cocoa plant. I don’t think I’ve ever gone over that process before. I don’t know how anyone thought up how to make chocolate from the cocoa bean, as it doesn't taste anything like it! It was interesting to watch the video clip showing how they harvest the cocoa fruit, cut it in half and scoop out the inside with the beans. ... smaller suitcases with all the warm clothes we owned, put on several layers and headed out. We thanked our lovely host and truly recommend the Hotel Du Palais to anyone who is coming to Dijon. It doesn't look much from the outside but the quaint rooms truly make for a lovely stay and it was a shame we were not staying there longer.

Having mastered the art of the sat nav coupled with the map I was in charge of directions and off we headed ...

... girl I tried to talk to, I went to bed around 2am. My bunk mate woke me up at 7am and asked me if I wanted to go get breakfast. We ate then planned a hike up the alps. The hike was about 2 and half hours and was pretty intense. The payoff was well worth it. I'll upload pictures because again words cannot explain. After the hike, we took a little trolley down the mountain and went and got lunch. We walked around town and talked ...
