... Nice town but not as good as the others. I've got about a million photos of the day. Unfortunately it's quite hazy so they won't show how beautiful this region is. Finally I go back to Varenna. This (for me) is definitely the best town. It's smaller and I love it. My BnB is in the square but the top floor balcony has beautiful views over the lake. I'm tired so have an early night. Instead we made our way to the ferry terminal and headed for the village of Menaggio (that's MENAGGIO, MENAGGIO for Paul). We wandered throughout the lakeside park and town square for a few hours before jumping on the ferry again and headed for Varenna.

Unfortunately most of the lunch places along the lake were closed still and so we found a ...

... Many toilets, western or not, are wet everywhere because that is how they have been doing it so why waste paper? I still very much love my toilet paper though! I remember when I really hurt myself in the toilet in Indonesia, I am pretty sure I mentioned it in the blog but here it is again: I really needed to go, and when on the road, you only have local restaurants, hence local toilets. The toilet hole was sitting on top of a square platform so you had to step ...
