... feeling wouldn’t taint my experience of Emmerich or the volunteering either. Fortunately after one and a half hours on a train, looking at the countryside and houses flash by the feeling was virtually gone. ... but it was a much more enjoyable experience. I missed airman David and his company, but I did chat to a British policewoman I'd seen earlier in the week, a guy that distributes potatoes and some air cadets. I also got squeezed between some Dutch and Danish troops (lucky me!) and generally pushed a little harder when I needed to.

... and were making drinks to order for walkers. I just had some water, and ate my snack, but it was a nice break. It was less hot that last year, but still warm.
