    Day 17 in the Smith campervan

    The day began like most, showers then breakfast AL fresco, we made pancakes with fruit. As we have no campsites booked from now on we had taken a look at the maps last night and listed some sites in the black forest as we now head slowly back towards Holland.     ... got back on the right track and headed on to Schaffhausen. We parked at Schloss Laufen and paid a few francs to enter. You can tour the Schloss which doesn't take too long, and they have some exhibits about the Rheinfall and its history over the years. At one time, there were plans to build a hydroelectric plant in the area, but luckily that didn't happen.
