... but you get used to it knowing that the holiday only lasts a few weeks.
- from the cities we visited, probably Bergen was the nicest
- but all places we were had something special
- people live in the most amazing places, even most desolate places.

Anyway, we good home safe after a very nice holiday.

... left our umbrellas in the car, and didn't even have our ponchos. It didn't matter as we had some time in the church - what an amazing church! - and as we left the rain had stopped so we didn't get wet. We had enough time to get lunch at a cute little old cafe before heading back to pick up Bryan. We were worried about being late but need not have been as Bryan was still talking about bikes :) . ... a laundromat!! The Netherlands has been a fun and interesting experience. I arrived in Amsterdam on Wednesday last week and stayed for 2 nights. ... up around 12 to my roommate's friend walking in my room showing me her outfit. It was so outrageous and I loved it. My roommate went all out. Wings and everything. Back at the house, we prepared dinner together. For Q first some carrots, potatoes and chicken wings. The chicken wings were marinated in the store and turned out to be too peppery for him. For ourselves Linda made some Hainan Chicken Rice. But it turned out that Quentin (who normally does not like anything besides fries, carrots and frikandel) loved the chicken.
