Day Twelve Marburg.....
... of the University and they let visiting lecturers and professors stay there, my single room is one of two on the bottom floor and we share a bathroom. The upper level there are two more single rooms with their own bathrooms in the second part there is a communal kitchen and eating room single rooms and double rooms, these are stunning and occupy the third floor, I think I was glad that I didn't have to climb the stairs with my suitcase. We have had a wonderful time with all the family over the past few days. We have been bike riding near Witten and taken long walks around the village to help walk off some of the "kuchen".

After a some what looooong journey on the Autobahn due to Friday traffic and accidents we arrived in Ehringshausen to be met on the corner by a now bigger Noah! It was fantastic to see everyone again after almost 6 years. The children, Jacob, Jule and Noah have all grown so much. Magdel was her usual welcoming self ... our rooms were just PERFECT.
Today is Klaus Peter (cousin) birthday, a celebration was planned. We had a great evening chatting with all the family and their friends.

Time with the family!
After a great evening in Lahnstein by the Lahn river (runs into the Rhein) we eat and sleep well :) Tomorrow we will visit the Marksburg Castle, then head to Rudeshine and visit the Drossekgasse (wine street)!!!! After lunch there we will visit Abberbach Abbey (say a prayer) and head for Ehringshausen and the FAMILY - can't wait to see everyone ...
