    Today we packed up.
There is now more clothes in our dirty washing bag than in our suitcases.
    Need laundry ASAP.

The castle lay in ruins for most of the 18th century until, in the 19th century, efforts to restore a portion of the castle were begun.

... must have been mountain goats. Straight up a pretty road but I only made it halfway. Too steep for me. Back down, walked to the river, crossed the bridge back to the old town. Visited the various churches and admired the shops on the Hauptstrasse. Will leave the castle and funicular for tomorrow .
Bought some fresh asparagus, strawberries and blueberries for dinner. Too much bread being eaten I'm afraid. Home by 5 and staying in.
