Today we packed up.
There is now more clothes in our dirty washing bag than in our suitcases.

The temperature is 28 degrees and snow showers. Heidelberg has 150,000 inhabitants. There are 6 universities. Students don't pay to go to university. Anybody can attend but must speak German. Heidelberg was not destroyed in war. The weather was bad so surrounding towns were bombed. Heidelberg is the largest German town. Approx 500 people lived in castle. ... quite well decorated and one even has a large animatronic moose head, which sings Christmas carols. Around the Paradeplatz, there are a lot of children's fairytale themed things as well.
To finish off the day, there was a little Christmas carolling in Edingen at the Marktplatz, with a brass band, although my German singing leaves a lot to be desired!
