Beautiful little boutique hotel set. High above the city.
      Not far from the castle.

      Today we packed up.
There is now more clothes in our dirty washing bag than in our suitcases.
      Need laundry ASAP.

On Sunday we headed over to Matt and Karin's house for a cuppa and biccies. Matt and I left the women in the kitchen and walked over to Schwetzingen to check out the Weihnachtsmarkt there. To be honest I was a little disappointed because last year the Coca Cola Truck was there and there was an ice skating rink with a bar. I guess visiting a Christmas market during the ...

The temperature is 28 degrees and snow showers. Heidelberg has 150,000 inhabitants. There are 6 universities. Students don't pay to go to university. Anybody can attend but must speak German. Heidelberg was not destroyed in war. The weather was bad so surrounding towns were bombed. Heidelberg is the largest German town. Approx 500 people lived in castle. The dancing hall is where everyone gathered and partied with their powdered wigs and lice. Today most ...

To finish off the day, there was a little Christmas carolling in Edingen at the Marktplatz, with a brass band, although my German singing leaves a lot to be desired!
