          ... the last time I saw a TV. We are living the good life in one sense though, being able to go out into the garden and pick leeks, onions, garlic, tomatoes, basil, peppers etc is so much easier than tesco's and self service machines. We tried to make soup earlier and the food processor wouldn't work, so then we tried the blender and it had no bottom so I walked around for an hour carrying half a blender looking for parts for it, never found the part and used a juicer ...

          ... soil from all of the concentration camps people from Terezin were sent to, was brought back and placed in a memorial.

          The kids got alot out of this trip and were in awe of the fact that people stood where they did, did not have anything and many were lead away to their death. They saw artwork made by children of their own age, some of which never survived.

          They asked lots of questions and were just blown ...

          ... the clouds rolled in and we had the breezes to doze by on the train ride back to Prague. At the station, we saw a statue dedicated to the man who saved 600 Jewish children from Prague. We walked home with the clouds and thunder. We stopped along the way to have a snack supper and an apple tart from Paul....our dessert place here, while dodging raindrops. Now we are in and planning tomorrow...

          ... to see the Modern Masters Saw some wonderful sculptures and paintings . ( Degas, Rafael , Caspar David Fredereich ) Left by train to travel back to Prague. Very good train with restaurant car where we had a red wine and spinach soup. Wine here is very good and cheap and soups are fantastic. Asparagus soup is a national favourite as well as potato and sausage soup. We have to keep our eyes on Marion to make sure she doesn't get left ...

          A gorgeous little town that straddles across the Elbe River in Germany. Highly touristy but very picturesque . Walked the Heinsteinwanderveg trail just magnificent Forrest and back to town via river and trout farm where you can have smoked trout on bread with a pickle. Had to try the local apple streudle yummy! Drinks ...
