Belgium is a favourite so far! The town is beautiful - feels like we're in a storybook. Poppies are everywhere. There is evidence all over town of John McCrae's poem. ... crowds began, Michele stayed in bed. We have purchased a city card to do tours and museums. Our host Tina has suggested some great local restaurants as did our walking tour guide. The tourist restaurants all seem to sell the same food, it's not very traditional and is overpriced so local knowledge has served us well in some less commercial areas.
