Day just chilling in Horsford and a spot of cheap and cheerful lunch at The Oaks. Washing done and nicely drying in the sun ready for our next stint.

Edinburgh for 2 nights then 'old London Town for 7. Plenty of people to catch up with and so looking forward to it. Will have a day up the East End, go and view the Shard plus lots more in the greatest city in the world. (Oh ok that's always debatable but certainly one of the greatest)

Today was forecast to be a bit wet and they certainly weren't wrong. It started raining at 6am and then got progressively heavier. We put on our best wet weather gear knowing that it was going to have little effect given the torrential nature of the downpours. Fortunately it was only a shortish route today of about 40K. Following the obligatory quick trip to the local supermarket for supplies we were off on our way to Hemsby. Today's route took us initially eastwards towards Lowestoft and then northwards up the coast to Great Yarmouth and finally to Hemsby. The weather for the trip was hot and sunny as it has been for most of the time on our trip so far. Lowestoft was much nicer than I had expected, with a ...

... heck, we knew Big Gerty was waterproof; so off we trod to the west of the country. There was another worry, the fridge didn't like being run off 220v. Hmmm, will look into that later (famous last words...).

As we approach Wales we decide that the Welsh really don't like the British much. You have to cross the Severn Bridge (huge suspension bridge) and there is a toll for vehicles from England to Wales but free to get ...

... We were going to negotiate the famous ferry across the river Blyth, but as there was a bridge about 0.5k up the river, we opted for that instead. We did take a picture of the ferry which has been operated by the same family since the 1920s with the current operator being the great great grand daughter.
