Day just chilling in Horsford and a spot of cheap and cheerful lunch at The Oaks. Washing done and nicely drying in the sun ready for our next stint.
Edinburgh for 2 nights then 'old London Town for 7. Plenty of people to catch up with and so looking forward to it. Will have a day up the East End, go and view the Shard plus lots more in the greatest city in the world. (Oh ok that's always debatable but certainly one of the greatest)
Today was forecast to be a bit wet and they certainly weren't wrong. It started raining at 6am and then got progressively heavier. We put on our best wet weather gear knowing that it was going to have little effect given the torrential nature of the downpours. Fortunately it was only a shortish route today of about 40K. The aim was to try and get to the satiation just after lunch and then find a nice coffee shop.

Following the obligatory quick trip to the local supermarket for supplies we were off on our way to Hemsby. Today's route took us initially eastwards towards Lowestoft and then northwards up the coast to Great Yarmouth and finally to Hemsby. ... We were going to negotiate the famous ferry across the river Blyth, but as there was a bridge about 0.5k up the river, we opted for that instead. We did take a picture of the ferry which has been operated by the same family since the 1920s with the current operator being the great great grand daughter.
