Started the day by going to church. Their pastor is on vacation so the Liturgist/Choir
director delivered the message. He was pretty good, but they didn't have communion on this first Sunday. Of course I went to the early service, so they may have had it at the late service.

Did a load of dark clothes (love that washer). Watched everyone else leave. Think there are only about 10 of us left here for the night. Everyone was talking about the storms coming in, but we've ...

... until close to time for the fireworks. We were going to sit in front of the coach and watch them, but decided we would not be able to see anything, so we walked around to the campground entrance where we could see better. I remember as a kid going to the fireworks and hearing all the "oohs" and "aahs" but not now. I told Bob I thought it might have something to do with where we are, I'm sure the bigger cities have much more money to ...

... because when we returned "home", the rug was soaked again. We will need to find out where it might be leaking and stuff something in there, from the outside. Before when we've had a leak, it seemed like it was riding the slide rail inside, but we're not absolutely sure. One positive thing about the rain, it sure cooled things down. The temp dropped about 25 degrees during the storm.

Hope you all have a good night's sleep and a good day tomorrow.

... We traveled this road until we came to MO-65 and headed north to Sedalia.

After arrival and being escorted to our parking spot, I remembered that two years ago when we were here, we were in the same spot and guess what, the electric pedestal still doesn't work. We plugged the surge protector into three different ones and each time, as soon as we plugged the coach into the surge protector, it popped off. We final added the extension cord and tried a pedestal ...
