... were to sit on a grassy area in right field. Abe hustled back to the car for a blanket so we could be more comfortable. We ate terribly (kettle corn, ice cream, beer, soda, pork sandwich), the Bees lost to the El Paso Chihuahuas, and for much of the game the boys stood in the shade because even at 8:30pm, it was still close to 95. It's so strange here that at night it can get hotter. The fireworks were really great. Ben had fun not watching the game ...

... We would start a round, then Mom would fidget and roll her dice absentmindedly in her hand. The result was trying to figure out what letters she had, which was difficult because she insisted on hiding her letters from us after each roll. This happened multiple times and made us laugh so hard that I peed my pants! So on Tuesday, we made our way to Salt Lake City, where we had some accommodation lined up (thanks to Tommo!) with Daniel Eichner and his family.
