      ... was bad. What can I do? Nothing! And then, of course, with that blow to my self esteem, in came all those negative thoughts that I try and keep under control. "What a looser, what a failure and now, to make matters worse OLD!!

      There was nothing left to do but have a piece of foccacia with Italian sausage, a glass of wine and a lie down.

      The markets for our daily supply of fruit and veg again. I am going to the same family every morning now and they are helping me with my Italian. Sadly, my brain really struggles to remember the word structure but I hope I'm getting better. So much of my day is spent trying to convert what I want to say into Italian.       I woke early this morning. It is light until about 9.30 at night and then the sun is up again at around 6am. The whole place is buzzing at night until way after I have been going to bed.       ... rated B&B on trip advisor ( as we do with all our accommodation) and I am pleasantly surprised. The home was built in 1500, which you just can't comprehend.
