... Hermes etc. Our purchase limit is gelato so the exact same size gelato today was 50%2525 more expensive in Portofino! We both got burnt sitting on the boat but we're fine about that. Almost all of the coast was housing, villages etc in one long strip from Genoa until the very end when the hills were much steeper and pine forests abounded. Just the sheer natural beauty of the place made me feel very content. I must have spent three hours just wandering ...

... to a seaside restaurant and enjoyed a lovey glass of wine and an Aperol Spritz before heading back to the train. The Aperol Spritz is a magnificent luminous orange and is just like drinking the sunset. It has become the drink of choice for all of the girls on our tour. While it was a short day of explorations it was truly magnificent and somewhere we would highly recommend a visit. Onto Asti for some wine tasting. Much love. ...
