... managed to spot about 15 of them.

We did much walking and criss crossed the old city numerous times. Lunch was spent eating sandwiches at Kings Square drinking "real" lemonade. We had afternoon tea at "Wildes Cafe" where Jeed and I enjoyed a pint of Guinness. We had dinner at a Thai restaurant that evening. We arrived back at the hotel after 9 pm. The further north we travel the longer the days get. Next stop Edinburgh.

... followed. Back outside and on our way to the castle museum we were surprised by some heavy rain! Of course we didn't have any umbrella so we ran through the streets looking for public washrooms. Once we found them a lovely lady gave us some garbage bags to use and we continued to the hostel. After drying off we ate our leftovers, the fresh fruit and some local chocolate we had purchased ...

The only downside for them was to suffer through a long tutorial on bike racing tactics, ethics and history according to the Gavin brothers. ... went to tuck her daughter in one night and noticed a red ring on her neck (a distinct sign of the plague). Seeing that she then packed and left the house with her husband. They locked the door and painted a red cross on the front - a sign of the plague.

... a few drinks and a pizza at Ponte Vecchio pizza place across the road from our motel. Met up with patsy and Michael again and went on a canal cruise, which was a great way to see the city, very informative and interesting. Bite to eat for tea at Argentinian restaurant, sat outside and ate, then went for another wander through the streets seeing it was our last night, even though we were all really tired, e ded up back in the red light district, was a huge amount of people ...
