... from the coast of Surfers Paradise. The tank was huge and so were the sharks! They had different species (bull sharks & …………) mixed in one tank with a range of different fish/ sting rays.

We even had the chance to get up close to the sharks using a glass bottom boat floating over the top of the tank with these incredible creatures swimming below us. One false move and Darren could of fell into the tank ha ...

Second activity we did was getting lost, but eventually we found the place we wanted. We saw Kangaroos, dingos, Tasmanian devils and Koalas. There were many animals that you could see, multiple shows to watch and plenty to do.

All in all a great day.

As for progress...well there isn't much. Probably a day spent on sealing the door and putting in the water tank. Chris has to run a business and do bits and pieces on other things as well. We enjoy our adventures to and from Beaudesert, our picnic lunches and coffees and the visitation. Fingers crossed we see some progress next week. Getting excited.

Day 106

Successfully had a lie in this morning. Got up and checked out and had breakfast at the hostel's cafe downstairs. Really good it was too. Only just made it to the bus stop mind, as the transfer from the hostel was late! Still, we boarded and took just over 3 hours to get to Surfers Paradise. Had to put our clocks back an hour too, but it was literally at a roundabout of a town we passed through (Queensland has daytime saving, New South Wales doesn't). Waited ...
