... younger single backpackers to themselves and hoping for the older-couple backpackers we had become accustomed to in New Zealand (we sound old) on our next stop.

We found reasonable priced airport shuttles worked fine for hostel-airport pick up and drop off, very convenient for our travelling times. Other strange Australian memories include the Aboriginals, all very drunk and dangerous looking wildly ambling around Cairns, not such a good look for ...

It would be okay, I had brought four hearing aids. Turns out.. three of them didn't work. You cannot imagine the anger I felt at that moment. Imagine the Incredible Hulk having period pains. Something like ...

... was not expecting that! Sam Brittan, like his Facebook page and make sure this guy makes it to the big time. After 5 nights all of the people I met at the hostel have moved on so I've decided to get the Greyhound to Brisbane. It's Australia's version of a National Express coach but with some badass reclining seats. Sam's gigging up in Darwin in September so I'm hoping to be somewhere close in time to see him play again. Now off to Bris Bang Vegas aka ...
