          Nuit à Toronto Layover

Grâce à mes talents de négociations, Everick et moi avons eu la nuitée payée par Westjet. Après tout, c'est la moindre des choses pour avoir changé le vol acheté des mois précédemment.

Thank to my negociation talent, Everick and I spent the night in the hotel paid for by WestJet.

Whelp I'm downstairs in the hotel lobby ready to get on the shuttle to the airport before my 30 hour travels to Bankok. I'm excited (and a little sleepy) to get off and see the world! Hopefully I'll keep updating this blog with new & fun stories so you guys can see what I'm up to.

... and several sandy beaches. There were crowds of people out and about enjoying the beautiful summer weather and Centre Island was busy with groups having picnics, children playing in the in-ground paddling pools and frisbee and ball games being played in the large grassy areas. We headed straight across the island to hire bikes and managed to cover most of the island in two hours. The far ends of the island were much quieter with a few people venturing that far on foot, however ...

... started shuffling up with suitcases like my zombie brethren. It worked out so much cheaper to take the taxi to the bus stop, for the airport bus only costs $3.50, though beware- no change! Yes, I learnt the hard, five-dollar-note way. I sat beneath the horrendous bus lighting as we poured over the Angus L. MacDonald bridge, careering out of darkened Halifax, departing Dartmouth, without a glance backwards at what we were leaving behind. It was so very early and dark, I ...
