... studios and so we got to see where lots of great movies have been made. We had dinner near our hotel which was the new "best meal in U.S." That included ricotta and spinach ravioli for Emma and Chicken Parmigiana for GC. ... I did find Julie Andrews's, and fun fact, we both have tiny hands! We went upstairs to what was supposedly the world's largest candy store. That was a major disappointment, considering there was barely any candy in it! If you're a large building that claims to be the world's largest candy store, there better be floor to ceiling candy, rather than just a few fixtures here and there. C'mon. After a long 11 and a half hour flight (in which I got ZERO sleep) Sarah and I hopped off the plane at LAX. As we nervously made our way through customs we reminisced about the old days where every nitty gritty detail (eg visas, passports etc) was taken care of by the parentals. After manoeuvring through customs and collecting our luggage we experienced a great sense of independence and pride in our own capabilities ...
As we are travelling on the bus the iPad was passed around so the boys and supporters could write down their thoughts of the tour.
As an English teacher, Mr Hannah was amazed to see the boys wanting to write down their reflections on the tour.
