      ... town which we explored. The sun was setting as we made our way back to the house. Another round of foosball which went surprisingly well given the hour and tiredness of the kids. Kent was due home around 9pm from the coal mine but was held back to deal with a potential fire in one of the tunnels, we didn't manage to wait up for him.       Fernie - Helmet day for all

      A short update as we have not gone anywhere other than blasting down the mountain.

      We have all taken to having helmets following Doug's face plant yesterday. He is ok now, just a bruised ego and a distinct imprint of his goggles added to this is his pander eyes from wearing them – it is quite a sight.
