We were lucky we made the direct train from Menton to Milan (€30 each, dep 10.28am), that morning as it took us 3 hours to pack up our tent in the rain. ... sleep on the flight over. I have never been able to sleep on a plane and as soon as dinner was over, Matt reclined and was out for about 5 hours. I slept for about 30 minutes, although I was much more comfortable that sitting in economy next to a guy bigger than me and trying to enjoy the 8 hour flight.
