    ... hoping that I hadn't missed it. As I walked through the town, I got a few more pictures although the lighting and weather weren't ideal. The town seemed unusually quiet, almost deserted in a way, possibly because it was the "dinner hour". There was the faint smell of wood smoke in the area, and it definitely felt like fall was on the way.

    ... flew. Another amusing moment. We stayed out while the helicopter guys ran inside. It was a medical helicopter evacuating someone. It took about 15 minutes for them to get the guy out of wherever he was and into the helicopter.
