    ... across the harbour and a cable car before we reached Taronga Zoo. The zoo, with amazing views of Sydney over the harbour, was huge and it took us over four hours to look around it all. We saw all the standard zoo animals: tigers, lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, penguins etc but there were also plenty of Australian animals on show like koala bears, wallabies and dingos. The building itself is an amazing design and adds a symbolic tourist attraction to the skyline, but after seeing it for the first time it seemed like a lot of hype for one building.
