    Today was a fun day! We got to go to the Hyde Park barracks. It was a convict housing for males unit until 1848. After that it was used for women trying to find jobs and they could stay there. Also during that time there were women upstairs living there because they were refugees. It was interesting to see how they were used and there were hammocks where the male convicts had to sleep.     Well we made it to the big smoke, the stopping place for many an Irish Traveller, Sydney! We followed our sat nav to reach the Young household in northern Sydney.     ... there were so many people! Negotiating our way through we got a couple of pictures, but then just decided to get the train to the airport. Too many folk. It was a bit sad to leave Sydney, but as always we were glad to be heading to a new destination! We got a good spot at the airport and charged the iPad, but before long we were told they shut the airport! Nightmare as our flight was at 7am.
