I would like to warn all Canadians and Americans staying at Protea Hotels in South Africa to not use their phone system.
This hotel group is in parternership with a company they call BBG.
However, it is actually the old '800-608-0575' scammers based in San Diego. If you have been hit by the Protea Hotel's BBG company immediately ...

Toronto, Ontario, Canada clickchick... until I pass Ontario Place. It makes for a good workout and there's tons to see. You have Lake Ontario on one side and there's usually quite a few other people on the same path but it doesn't get overcrowded. Going for Dinner- Mamma Martino's- This is a little Italian restaurant on the Queensway. One of those mom and pop shops that all the locals know about. It's like Etobicoke's little secret. On Friday and Saturday nights the line up to get in is pretty fierce but it ...
Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada lyndak77Greg and I decided to go to Niagra Falls with a tour company. We had heard that driving was really difficult and busy. We chose a smaller tour company and we had a limosine ride from Tororto to Niagra Falls and other famous locations along the way. Our small tour group was quite diverse. There was a young lady from the Urkraine and her Canadian companion. There was also a family from Oxford, England. The first stop was at a winery. Even ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada mbypsu1... and unfortunately just missed one and had to wait to about 10.30pm to catch the next.... The driver was nice and dropped me a bit closer than he was going to so I didn't have such a walk. I arrived at the hostel at around 11.30pm and this is where my luck stopped and I soon found out I was sleeping on the floor..... When I got here they said they had a leak in one of the rooms and so I would be on a cot. I was tired and thought well surely that isn't too bad. Hmmm, it was ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada vhenschke... fantastic; much better than we had expected. So it worked out ok. I then took some pics from the pool area and then we went back down to the Canada Day festivities. We went through the PawsWay exhibit which was all about dogs (the kids HAD to see it). They had some dogs in the back...where you could meet Canadian breeds: Nova Scotia Duck Trolling Retriever, Newfoundland, Labrador Retriever etc. They had cats too in this separate room, but I didn't go anywhere near ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada kitkatgoStill in Toronto.. I fly out on Monday evening. I can't believe it's coming up so soon and how unprepared I am. Yes, there will be last minute errands and packing, as always... Just got back from a really fun last night out in Toronto.. thanks to those that came out to see me off, and to D for convincing me that a night of dancing and debauchery (okay, there wasn't any debauchery - is that boring?) right ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada missruckus... the attention of Choir, Orchestra, and audience and was a highlight for all. Standing ovation followed and some Choir members wondered whether Ms. Gartner could join them for the rest of the tour! What a heartwarming ending to such a wonderful experience. Hearts were touched, lifted, and filled with hope and love as the Choir and Orchestra concluded their performances in the first stop on the 2007 Midwest Tour. And on to Chautauqua, New York . . .
Toronto, Ontario, Canada motabchoir01... t understand why, because there were steel struts everywhere and it wasn't like anything was going anywhere!) The view was nice, although I thought the view from the stratosphere in Las Vegas was better (maybe because it was at night...???). That was pretty much it for sightseeing, it was interesting to be in a large city again and trying to navigate using foreign customs, like the train station etc. (but luckily I had no troubles).
Toronto, Ontario, Canada daslink... the ethnic monorities within the home. There is also a hobby room adjcent and a small laundry for residents to do their own washing. A quiet room, or 'parlor' as they like to call it is underused There is a schedule of activities which are not compulsory. Local groups can use the facilities in the bulding, in return they have to contribute omething, eg girl scouts come in and help with baking cakes. They are having ...
