      ... for the gas staton. But half way there, I looked at the fuel gauge and it showed full. So we high-tailed it back to Hertz to show them and all was fine.

      We left there and took a tram to the hauptbahnhof to establish a 'beach-head' in Mannheim. Also while there, we made arrangements to head off to Basel in Switzerland on Friday. Only 2.5 hours away.
