Today we are in Macon, a beautiful little town on the Soane. Tomorrow when we get to Lyon, we will enter the Rhone river. Dennis and I decided to spend the morning exploring this old town. ... goats were especially cute. There was a small white goat that was only 10 days old. All of the goats in the barn were the females and the males were out in the pasture. Each goat gives about 1.5 liters of milk per day. The farm sells goat milk as well as goat cheese. They had a tasting of goat chesse and white wine. Dennis enjoyed this stop immensely.
