... option for dinner was a pizza. Finally we reached the hotel at around 9pm and managed to connect to fast wifi - so we all updated our various social media pages and accepted all our friend requests! ... it hits. If we were going to be here tomorrow, it would be tempting to hit the shops for some retail therapy. The only problem - it is a public holiday and everything will be closed. There are a lot of very sunburned people walking around the streets (but at least, not us). We did as we had planned and watched the Criterium. Most of the big names not present for the Giro were in action on the streets of Lyon.

11:29 AM I'm currently on a TGV train (it's just this extra expensive fast "bullet trains"), on my way to lyon, we already passed Avignon, so I think the next stop will be mine.
