We left Sauvignone soon after 09:00 and took the autostrade to Turin and then onwards to Briancon. We stopped at Momtgenevre where relatively fresh snow had been swept for the road into piles on the car park. This was hard to believe as it was actually 20c with brilliant sunshine when we were there! The views of the Alps with snow covered tops, ...

I had fun in Marseille, more fun than I had in Paris actually and I think I owe it to Mark and Morad who seem to really go out of their way to please me. Such nice people, I definitely owe them one. It's too bad I couldn't really go anywhere yesterday, I had quite a few plans and now ...

We woke up bright and early in Paris, bags packed and ready to board the train for Lyon. I had, had the most wonderful time in Paris, but was ready to explore some smaller niches of France. We took the subway to the station where we would board our train to Lyon. The journey was quick and comfortable, the two hour ride felt like a mere 2 minutes in the comfort of our first class carriage. We disembarked in Lyon and had the task of locating Michel, Willy's ...
