All this wine education, I thought this was to be a holiday. Today we head not that far down the highway to the next famous wine region of Beaujolais. A wine and area that we have very little knowledge of, hope to learn a lot which won't take much. 11:29 AM I'm currently on a TGV train (it's just this extra expensive fast "bullet trains"), on my way to lyon, we already passed Avignon, so I think the next stop will be mine. ... the (pretty amusing) audio-guide, I realise the basement looks full of restorations-in-progress, also very awesome. Back to the audio-guide: one exhibit showed many precious marbles and where they came from, while the guide explained that these were far beyond MY humble means and that they had been hand-polished by convicts, whose fate it hoped I would not share.
