... on the sundeck and watched as we passed gorgeous towns (including the city of Linz) and went through a number of locks. That is a weird sensation as this huge barge goes down into the lock ready to be let through when the water levels are adjusted. Another interesting sight (actually of this whole trip) has been the huge number of vapor trails from planes in the obviously very busy skies...quite disconcerting to think there is so much traffic flying around up ...
