She seems to have settled well into the new apartment and enjoys the extra space; particularly as it allows her to chase her tail with less likelihood of bumping her head. ... pretty long way from O'Hare all the way to downtown, so it did kind of start to lose its lustre, especially in the dark of the evening.
We walked around downtown Chi-town for a while and eventually settled on deep dish pizza at Pizano's which turned out to be a delicious and family friendly choice. We hopped the Blue Line back out to Rosemont just in time for the bedtime routine.
It was a pretty good start to a big adventure.
... about this says the same thing: "If you can take some significant time off and travel, you should definitely do it while you can and when you're single because once you're married/start having kids, forget it until retirement." If we even get retirement. The way this country is rolling I'll be able to retire at the ripe old age of 92 with my current retirement fund that has now earned just enough to let me survive for about a month on ramen noodles.
