Onto Hobro which looked like a pretty scummy town / city but was our gateway to Fyrkat, the Viking Fortress and reconstructed farmstead. The fortress is from 980 in Harald Bluetooth's time (Google will tell you all about it if you're interested!) We had great fun wandering around the two sites, re-enacting the Viking ways! 8 May - Staying next to Denmark's largest in land body of water; it has a 600Km cycle route around it...we set out to do 10 after parking up, but ended up doing 22Km after following Route 12 around the historical midden and bird sanctuary.

... back on the train, where we sat next to a some folks who were helping out a wear refugee from Ukraine. It was really touching to see the Danes rally around him, one guy paid his train ticket to Copenhagen.

Once we got close to the station I got a couple French hot dogs for dinner and we ate the rest of our pastries waiting for the train back to Ålborg. I edited my housemate Kamil’s thesis the entire ride back as his English writing wasn’t that good. Everyone likes having me around to edit the English in their writings haha.
