Well the waves are not as big as Biarritz but we got to see the biggest Sand Dune I have ever seen. Climbed to the top and took in the wonderful view.
Day one we decided to have a little flutter in the casino next door to the hotel, both came out up so in profit from the overall evening.

... the wind started to pick up making it very hard to stand up straight. Within seconds the clouds let loose and buckets of rain started to fall, making it even harder to walk. I pretty much slide all the way down the side of the dune and ended up in the forest at the bottom, no where near the path back to the gate. ... and by making maximal use of the speedy internet connection. I passed by a market and bought some tomatoes and blue cheese to eat along with a left over baguette I took from the hostel. I also passed a few attractive plazas in the city on my way out, but didn't stop in the light rain to either admire them nor to take photos.
