Reserve east of Minneapolis because some of the other regional parks closer to Mall of America had been affected by flooding to the large amount of rainfall that occurred the week before. It is a really nice park with 22 miles of paved trails and many more miles of hiking trails. I believe there are 80 campsites in the modern campground. We stayed at site 65.           The first leg of the journey has started. The trip over the pond was uneventful and smooth. None of us slept much but then again, none of us sleep well on the plane.

          We are 15 minutes out of Amsterdam as I write this. We will have about 1 hour in Amsterdam and it will be largely moving about - getting our boarding pass, get thru passport control and off to the gate.
