I ordered the Raclette dish and seemed the outdoor seating area filled with Americans. One from Chicago heading to Israel the other with the grand kids had just finished off in Zermatt and heading home the next day - they were from Florida. ...

          "I work here."
"Oh why are you staying in a hotel if you work in Switzerland?"
"I work here. I'm the manager."
"OHH," I exclaimed, feeling a little foolish.
He told me his name, Mike, and I told him I'd seen it around on a sign somewhere and that I am enjoying myself so far. He asked how long I was in Switzerland for and I said today is my last day and I will ...

... not for us). It is mainly a financial city, so there is not much of an old town, or things to do (besides go to museums).

Since we did not want to go to museums, we saw all the important landmarks on the tourist map, climbed the city's largest church tower, watched some large figure chess in a park (it is kind of a city tradition now, we have to do this), then ran out of things to do.

So, we made our way back to the train station and caught ...

I decided to order the Club Sandwich which came only with Fries, along with wine. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the portion size was quite reasonable, although it was still a filling meal. However, I was not pleasantly surprised to see the bill. Susan and Catherine chatted all evening and we all devoured the meal with great enthusiasm and appreciation. When all was done (and me very well done) we parted and drove back to our hotel around mid-night. What a great time. Thanks Erwin and Catherine.
