Bancos, …

... back to our hotel to be picked up by our tour guide, Run, and driver, Mr Tan. Then back to the Bund for a history lesson on the area where the great trading houses and banks had their headquarters in the 1920s and 30s. look out for. Something you don't really grasp the truth of until you ...

... span the river. Our first stop of the day is the Maglev train. Built at a cost of $1.5 billion US, it is literally the train to nowhere—well, not nowhere—just the airport. Built for speed, the train takes only 7 minutes to travel 20 miles. Top speed is 431 km/hour or 268 mph. It is faster than the Chunnel in France, and faster than a Formula One racecar. It literally floats on the magnetic rail as it glides along at top ...

      Whaaaaahooo I'm here,

Made it safe and sound we flew out of Auckland Airport at about 11pm and arrived in Shanghai at about 11am NZT (7.05am Shanghai) very exciting but also scary! At the airport PU DONG we meet up with Will, who showed us to the bus and the trip began! Bus ride to SHIFT was little scary it involved lots of ...
