... a repeat of the calimari- alas is is closed! (wedding or funeral in family couldn't quite work it out). Anyway, of course we found somewhere else which was not as good but no complaints from us. ... you get to the glass you switch on the light and all is revealed. It feels a little eerie descending the steps into the dark! Most of the tombs that are accessible date from 500BC, there are some beautiful hunting and fishing scenes, a lot of banqueting with entertainment with sporting games and dancers. ... World Heritage Site. Along the motorway we stopped for lunch at the services, this particular one has an area for camping cars to fill and empty water. We don't need to use it today. ... is alive. One of the other neat things we see are caves dug out of the rock on the roadway leading up to the village. These caves are used to store stuff or are workspaces for mechanics, wood workers and even serve as a store for local wines. These people are very ingenious when it comes to their space utilization. The sun is starting to set and the old stone just glows.

We head back to our place and pack up for tomorrow. Our next destination is Rome again. ...
