    ... certainly didn't get any culture. But we did see a little of the countryside from the bus window. The bus stopped a few times en route; mostly for the driver to have a fag break or buy live chickens that he'd later drop off with a friend, so random, so we caught a glimpse of some of the small towns, all seemingly in a desperate state of repair with pot-holes everywhere and quite a lot of graffiti. We had a really great round together; she was a very good golfer, he had a really bad day... but he managed to keep it together ( well almost, until he threw his driver into the bushes....).     ... me to play golf in Oman two years ago, amazing coincidence! We were very pleased to see him and had a drink with him afterwards. The course itself was a bit dull, Charlie kept putting his balls into bunkers and getting cross; I relaxed and enjoyed the wild flowers and did rather well.

    Dinner overlooking the Black Sea under an equally black sky (looking stormy again) completed a great day.

    ... job of planting up the entire area with native wild flowers, it was lovely, even the men noticed. The German guy was friendly and relaxed so I was able to squeeze in the buggy and go along for the ride and the views. I would have liked to have played too the T boxes for the women were really easy, nothing scary at all. The men's were something else, with long drives over the sea, huge drops ...

    Sozopol looked so peaceful in the setting sun of early evening as we set off to find some supper. There was an amazing thunderstorm all around us as we ate dinner over looking the pretty harbour of Sozopol old town. As we made our way back at about 9.30 the beach side bars were all lit up but there were very few customers to enjoy the music.
